3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Users under 18 require parental/guardian consent.

4. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information and ensure compliance with all applicable Canadian laws.
  • Do not upload content that is illegal, infringing, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
  • Refrain from reverse engineering, scraping, or disrupting the Service.

5. Privacy & Data Security

  • Compliance: We adhere to Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and provincial privacy laws (e.g., Quebec's Act 25).
  • Data Collection: We collect audio/text inputs, usage data, and device information to operate and improve the Service.

  • Security: Data is stored on secure Canadian servers (or other jurisdictions disclosed in our Privacy Policy).

6. Intellectual Property

  • User Content: You retain ownership of uploaded content but grant us a non-exclusive license to process it for Service delivery.
  • AI Outputs: Outputs generated by the Service (e.g., summaries) are owned by you, provided they do not infringe third-party rights.
  • Service IP: All software, algorithms, and trademarks remain the property of MeetMinutes.

7. Prohibited Uses

  • Unlawful activities, harassment, or spreading malware.
  • Training competing AI models using Service outputs.
  • Breaching security protocols or circumventing access controls.

8. Disclaimers

  • Accuracy: AI-generated content may contain errors. Verify critical outputs independently.
  • Availability: Service is provided "as is" and may experience downtime.
  • Third-Party Links: We are not responsible for external sites linked through the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

MeetMinutes is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., lost profits).
  • Errors in AI outputs or reliance on such content.
  • Unauthorized access to data due to user negligence.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Users may delete accounts at any time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

12. Amendments

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
